This cross is built in a recording and photo-taking camera that can do video recording and take photos. Cross DV Instructions:


Start Record: press power button for 1 second, after the yellow light last for 5 seconds, the indicator becomes blue and vieo recording is started.
Stop Record: press the power button for 1s and wait, the system is busy at this moment(do not press the button repeatedly or connect it to PC), after the indicator becomes yelow, video recording is stopped and the video recorded will be stored at the same time. The time used to store depends on the size of the video file(the larger of the file, the longer of the time consumption)

Note: Switch operations above must be made in mode of video recording.

1.Mode Shift operation
In video recording mode, turn the mode shift switch to P to enter photo taking mode.In photo taking mode, switch to V to enter video recording mode.
During shifting from video to photo, the system will store the recorded video before mode changing.

2.Photo Taking
In photo taking mode, short press the button one time to take one photo, and the yellow indicator will flash once meaning that one photo has been saved.
Note: In standby state if there isn't any operation in 1 minute, the system will be automatically power off. During video recording, if the battery is low power, the system will automatically save the present video and power off. When video recording is continued for several times another one video file will be generated each time.
It takes a certain time to store the file, please do not make any other operations (such as button press, PC connection )during this period when the indicator change from yellow to blue, or the video file recorded will not be saved successfully and there might be data loss.

3.Play the Video File
Connect this DV with PC through the USB interface. Make sure that relevant video playing software has been installed in the computer. Open teh removable disk and click demanded video file to play.

4.Power Off
In the video recording state, standby mode or photo taking mode, in order to power off the DV, please long press the button till the indicator turns off.
In video recording state, long press the buton, the system will then save the recorded video file and power off.

5.Connect to PC
In power off state or standby state(when the indicator is off or yellow) the DV can be connected to the PC, and removable disk will be popped out, the store route of the video file :*disk/VIDEO/RECORD, store route of the photo file: *disk/IMAGE/RECORD.
Accoding to different PC configurations, time taken to recognize the disk differ slightly.If the computer dosn't recognize the disk, please check if the operating system, the driver, USB port and the connection cable work well.Before pulling out the DV, please click the device management icon on the bottom right corner on your PC screen to safly remove the disk.

6.Charge
In power off or standby state, connect this DV to a PC to charge it.Built in Li-ion battery can be used and charged at the same time.But when use at the first 5 times better charge fully the battery after it is completely run out of power, by doing this, long electric capacity can be achieved.

7.Reset
If the DV stops working or can not be power on due to improper operation or unknown reasons, it is necessary to reset the DV system. Insert a toothpick or other narrow, non-metal tool into the reset hole to reset it. The device is in power off state after resetting.

8.Set System Time
This DV has the function of synchtonous time recording during video recording, date and time are dispalyed on the top left corner of the screen in the format like this: 2010-01-01 10: 09:09.
How to Set System Time:
Connect the DV to a PC, creat a test file with the name of Time.txt on the root directory of the disk. Open the file and input date and time in the following format: 2010-01-01 10: 09:09.Save the file, disconnect the DV and the PC, and restart the device, the new setting will come to usage.
